Through my time in college, I had the opportunity to complete two internships.

 LifeServe Blood Donation Center: Through this I was able to get hands-on experience working at a non-profit, seeing the ins and outs and able to help with their public relations initiatives. 

Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women in Politics: Through this internship I was able to utilize a variety of public relations skills. I made the Women Impacting Iowa State Calendar, I was in charge of the design for the calendar. I also scheduled photoshoots with 12 women over a two week period and edited all the photos. I also created the invitation, program and helped run the event. Throughout the time I also wrote bi-weekly newsletters and assisted with various photoshoots and other tasks in the office. 

Johnson County Parks and Recreation: I am currently working with this internship and am enjoying numerous opportunities. I am excited to update as I continue to expand my experiences.
