About Me

Hello and thank you for checking out my portfolio! My name is Grace Parrott and I graduated May 2024 Iowa State University, majoring in public relations and political science.

Throughout my time at Iowa State, I was extremely involved in my sorority, holding multiple positions such as corresponding secretary, standards chair, homecoming general co-chair and greek week general co-chair. I have also been on multiple committees such as academic committee or by-laws committee. In addition, I had the opportunity to serve on Greek Week Central as Crew Director. Which was an incredible leadership opportunity in the larger Sorority and Fraternity Community.

Outside of my sorority I have been involved in Student Admissions Representatives as a tour guide and helped serve on Collegiate Panhellenic Council as a member of the judicial board.

Additionally, through my time in college, I held two internships. I interned at LifeServe Blood Donation Center as a public relations and marketing intern. I also interned at the Catt Center for Women in Politics as a public relations and event planning intern. 

Post college, I am currently enjoying the opportunity of interning with Johnson County Parks and Recreation as a Recreation Intern. I have had a variety of opportunities to work with a variety of departments and supervisors to observe different leadership styles as well as a variety of learning opportunities through each event and experience.
